Job Details:

  • Shift 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Prepare purchase orders by verifying descriptions, quantities, and price
  • Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to order cards
  • Obtain purchases by emailing orders to vendors; monitor and expedite orders
  • Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with vendors
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Assists in monthly closings
  • Researches and solves payment discrepancies
  • Processes credit card payments
  • Schedule delivery of blanket orders
  • Authorize payment for purchases
  • Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents
  • Manage relationships with key vendors to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
  • Raise our profits by making the most high-quality and cost-effective purchases
  • Understand Sales Tax vs Sales Use Tax purchases


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Quick Books
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
  • Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset
